As a recognized authority on real estate trends in Los Angeles, Chris works with LA’s leading developers from land acquisition to mega-mansion completion. He has a keen eye for which elements drive home value in the design-build process, as well as broad experience and relationships with many of LA’s designers, architects and stagers from Eastside collective to Westside luxury.

As real estate marketing has become more sophisticated and complex, Chris leverages a team of expert marketers. His primary markets are Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Sunset Strip, and estate communities in the Valley – Encino, Calabasas, Hidden Hills and the surrounding areas. At the request of his clients, Chris has ventured as far south as Shady Canyon in Irvine and as far north as Malibu and beach communities in Oxnard.

A graduate of the US Naval Academy and former intelligence officer for an F-14 squadron and the Navy SEALS, Chris is well versed in the art of never letting emotion overpower intelligence and strategy. His calm, sense of humor and quiet mental toughness when emotions run high are hallmarks of his reputation with sophisticated clients, high profile celebrities, leading developers, global investors and colleagues alike.

Chris is a husband, a dad, an athlete, a “closet musical theater performer” and he drinks his Hanger One martinis “up and bone chilling cold with two olives.”

Michelle’s deal making experience in the mergers and acquisitions group at JP Morgan and within commercial real estate in the triple net lease group at Angelo Gordon dovetail perfectly with her passion for architecture and for connecting clients with the right real estate,” says Chris Pickett who is CEO of his eponymous luxury real estate group at Douglas Elliman in Beverly Hills.

During the last decade, Michelle has closed numerous transactions across Los Angeles representing both Buyers and Sellers. Moreover, Michelle offers a global perspective having lived in London, Houston, Philadelphia, New York and Los Angeles. 

Michelle is an expert at moving, offering unique and poignant advice to those moving to LA’s eclectic neighborhoods. As a mother of two boys, she is invaluable when it comes to relocating families. Michelle told Chris, “I arrived in LA with a two-year-old, I was 6 months pregnant, and I had to settle my family in a matter of weeks – I learned a lot!”

Michelle primarily serves central Los Angeles from Hancock Park, Los Angeles’s oldest estate neighborhood, and the Larchmont area to Beverly Hills, though along with Chris, she represents clients from Malibu to San Diego, too.

Michelle’s educational pedigree is exemplary with undergraduate degrees from Wharton and the College at the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters in Business Administration from Columbia University. Her insightful analyses, strategic acumen, and problem-solving abilities serve her clients well in the competitive arena of Los Angeles real estate.

Michelle is a wife, a mom, a second-degree black belt in Karate (do not cross her in negotiations) and an avid skier, especially when shredding at Mammoth Mountain.
